For 46 years, Immanuel Community Services has been here – quietly, steadily -helping people get through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

It all started in the basement of a small church, Immanuel Lutheran, where a few caring neighbors came together to offer meals and a safe place to rest. Since then, ICS has grown into a trusted space where people can find food when the fridge is empty, shelter when there’s nowhere else to go and support when life feels overwhelming.

We’ve walked alongside thousands of people in South Lake Union and beyond; offering not just services, but hope, dignity and community.

As we celebrate 46 yeras of showing up for the community, we know one thing for sure: this work doesn’t happen without people like you.
